About TABB

YOUR PARTNER IN COMPOSITE SOLUTIONS

We combine expert engineering with in-house manufacturing to deliver high-performance composite solutions for any industry.

BRIDGING ENGINEERING & PRODUCTION

Real innovation happens when design and manufacturing work as one. At TABB, we don’t just bond layers together; we engineer solutions. Our facility integrates advanced composite manufacturing with high-level structural engineering. This allows us to support you through every phase: from the first feasibility study and material selection to the precision CNC-milling of the final product.

FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY

WE MANAGE THE COMPLEXITY, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO

Successful projects require more than just raw materials. TABB Interior Systems offers a structured workflow that transforms your initial requirements into ready-to-install components. By integrating engineering, material sourcing, and precision manufacturing under one roof, we guarantee a seamless process that saves you time and reduces risk.

1

Analysis &
Consultation

Defining the Requirements It starts with your challenge. Whether you have a fully detailed CAD drawing or just a weight target, our engineers analyze your specific needs. We review critical parameters like fire safety standards (EN 45545, IMO), structural loads, and more to deliver the optimal product for your project.

2

Engineering &
Material Selection

Co-Engineering the Solution We don’t just pick a panel; we engineer the composition. We select the optimal combination of core and skin materials and design the integration of inserts, reinforcements, and joining systems. If needed, we provide prototyping and validate the design against industry regulations.

3

Precision Manufacturing

Once the design is frozen, production begins. Utilizing our advanced adhesive technology, we bond the layers under controlled conditions. Our CNC centers then mill the panels to exact tolerances, drilling holes and applying edge finishes, turning a raw sandwich panel into a complex semi-finished product.

4

Quality Control & Delivery

Final Inspection & Logistics Before shipping, every component undergoes a strict quality check to ensure perfect bonding and dimensional accuracy. We deliver the panels ready for assembly, carefully packed and labeled, ensuring a seamless integration into your production line.

Our Story

How did TABB start its journey? It began with a simple belief construction could be lighter, stronger, and smarter. Over the years, we transformed from a specialized manufacturer into a complete engineering partner. What started as a focus on the perfect bond has evolved into a mission to solve complex structural challenges for clients worldwide.
2010
The Foundation

Founded by Paul van der Wielen and Eric de Mol.

Combining Paul’s commercial drive with Eric’s bonding expertise, TABB starts its journey.

First Major Win: Manufacturing and supplying new interior components for 200 wagons of the NS ICM Project. This immediate production scale established TABB as a reliable tier-1 supplier.

2011
The Bombardier Era

Expansion into international markets. TABB secures the SBB Twindexx project for Bombardier (partitions, luggage racks) and the DD 2010 Dosto project for German rail. Milestone: Achieving ISO & DIN certifications to meet strict rolling stock standards.

2014
Strategic Growth

Bob Hopstaken joins as shareholder. His expertise in product development and recruitment shifts the focus from pure manufacturing to organizational growth and innovation.

2018
New Headquarters

TABB moves to Zeusstraat 2 in Tilburg. A modern facility with expanded office space and production halls to accommodate growing order books.

2019
